Broccoli? Dream big, kid. :D
I can't even imagine what his face will look like the day he realizes those ginormous plants in our garden have honest-to-goodness broccoli growing in the middle.
Two exciting things happened today.
- I received my new Nalgene bottle (thank you, Nalgene media person) and am going to test it out tonight.
- I found out my town sells Earth Machine composters for $35. They retail for $85.
It's only a matter of time before I completely lose it to "go off the grid"... did I ever mention I desperately want to own chickens?

My family had chickens. They are icky and mean, imo. Sure, they seem nice and all, but, sometime's they'll attack with no known provocation! Especially the roosters.
Coops can get expensive, too, and you have to bury chicken wire around their outside area so that predators don't get at them.
I miss the fresh eggs, and the occasional "That Chicken was too mean to live" soup, but ... won't miss anything else about them!
