Today's the day of my divorce. The even more thrilling news is the hearing is scheduled for 10, and there is an impending snowstorm coming at roughly the same time. Everything is closed, all the schools are cancelled, and yet court is still on. I'm figuring it will be my luck to finally get divorced, only to be killed in a weather related car accident on the way home.
Please, please let me (and my children, who will be at their grandparents') get home okay.
I need this to be over. 2009 needs to be a new beginning.
