last quarter

It's October 1st, which means the last quarter of the Year of Frugal Living has begun. I'll be working on the 3rd quarterly report tonight, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it says. I don't think this quarter will be as impressive as the others, mainly because of the fact that I didn't get any "extra" money (tax returns, gifts, retroactive raises) like I did in the first two quarters. However, I still think I made some good progress, and I'm excited to see what the numbers are!

I love reading your blog! I need to be frugal but have a hard time doing it. I don't have enough money to pay all my bils and I even have a second job. Have any suggestions?

Hey Lori,

I was there, too! Have you sat down and really looked at all your spending? It's not fun, but it's necessary if you want to start cutting your budget. Then try to cut out extras, renegotiate your interest loans or transfer balances, and go from there. I'm not sure how much you have done already, but maybe that's a start!
Good luck, and keep me posted,
